Dr. Anirban Mukhopadhyay

Professor

Professor Anirban Mukhopadhyay has been teaching at the University of Kalyani since 2004 and is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering since 2015. He conducts research in areas such as soft computing, evolutionary algorithms, data mining, optimization, pattern recognition, and bioinformatics. He has co-authored three books and has published more than 200 research papers in various International Journals and Conferences and has also served on their review boards. Over his career, he has held various administrative positions including Head of Department, research committee chair, and others. He has been listed among the world’s top 2% scientists and has received several awards including the Shiksha-Ratna Award and other national and international honors.
